JUMOKE ADENOWO

Olajumoke Adenowo has been profiled by CNN as “Africa’s Starchitect”. At age 14 she enrolled to study architecture at the University of Ife, where she completed her postgraduate studies.
Adenowo founded AD Consulting, where she is Principal Partner. She has won several honours including; The New African Business Woman of the Year Award; The International Property Awards for Best Public Service Architecture, 2012; African Property Awards for Best Mixed-Use Architecture; and three IDEA Awards for Best Commercial Designer 2012, Best Interior Architect 2013, and Best Institutional Architect 2014.
Adenowo has been recognised by the Royal Institute of British Architects as one of the most inspirational women in architecture today. She is a fellow of Nigerian Institute of Architects and Adenowo is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, The Yale School of Management, The IESE Business School at the University of Navarra, Barcelona. She is a Guest Professor and Guest Laureate at The Technical University of Munich.
