OLIVER ENWONWU

Oliver Enwonwu is the founder and Executive Director at The Ben Enwonwu Foundation, as well as, the President of the Society of Nigerian Artists. He is also the CEO of Revilo Company Ltd., publishers of Omenka, Africa’s first arts, business and luxury-lifestyle magazine. He holds a first degree in biochemistry, an advanced diploma in exploration geophysics (distinction), postgraduate diplomas in applied geophysics and visual art (distinction) and a Masters in art history, all from the University of Lagos. His strong expertise in curating and art advisory is built over eighteen years heading Omenka, a leading gallery in Africa, while consulting for other important galleries, auction houses and museums, and curating major exhibitions around the world. A Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, this respectable speaker sits on the board of several organisations including the Reproduction Rights Society of Nigeria, the Lagos Biennial and the National Gallery of Art, Nigeria. In addition, he is a member of the Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity in the Nigeria Industrial Policy and Competitiveness Advisory Council, chaired by His Excellency, the Vice President of Nigeria.
